He Yaoshan (Sun) named music ambassador for the Olympic Songfest

(BEIJING, June 26) -- The international artist He Yaoshan (Sun) has been appointed Music Ambassador for the Olympic Songfest.

The Olympic Songfest is an activity, authorized by BOCOG, with the mantra of encouraging university students across China -- and all over the world - to submit entries for the theme song of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Sun has already submitted an entry, "Have Your Love" in 2006 to be considered as the Olympic Theme Song. It was composed by Diane Warren, the author of "Reach", -- performed by Gloria Estefan -- which was the official theme song for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.

Sun is currently working with other international musicians to submit a second entry for the official theme song of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
