CARACAS, June 24 (Xinhua) -- Brazil's national soccer team coach Carlos "Dunga" Caetano said on Sunday in Caracas that Mexico will be a difficult opponent when both teams face each other on Wednesday in their Copa America debut.
"Mexico can be very troublesome since it is motivated after playing the Gold Cup, an important championship, arriving at Venezuela with more playing rhythm than us," Dunga said in a press conference on Sunday at the Venezuela's Puerto la Cruz city.
"The first game of any tournament is always the most difficult, the most complicated and Mexico will have "an advantage" since it comes to Venezuela after playing in another competition," Dunga said.
Dunga praised Mexico since he considers it a "strong team" that has been playing well in recent years.
"Mexican soccer has improved a lot, it now has a lot of players playing overseas," Dunga said.
